Christie® is delighted to announce that several attractions, including dark ride experiences, at the newly opened Journey to the West Cultural Theme Park in Huai'an, Jiangsu on July 10th, are equipped with 80 Christie cutting-edge RGB pure laser projectors, 1DLP® laser projectors, content management, and AV-over-IP solutions. The stunning visual effects have significantly enhanced the immersion and scene-setting of these thrilling entertainment experiences.

Christie laser projectors bring a highly immersive visual experience to several dome screens for the thrilling and exciting 'Three Battles Against the White Bone Demon'.

These indoor entertainment attractions are inspired by the plot of the novel 'Journey to the West', one of China's Four Great Classical Novels. Among them, the dark ride project named 'Three Battles Against the White Bone Demon' is the highlight of Huai'an West游乐园, centered on the story of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, battling the White Bone Demon with wit and magic.

Visitors sit in custom-designed suspended motion seats, and multiple curved giant screens immerse them in an intense battle between justice and evil. Nine Christie D4K40-RGB pure laser projectors, three Christie D20WU-HS 1DLP® laser projectors, and eighteen Christie DWU850-GS 1DLP® laser projectors help visitors immerse themselves in this exciting adventure journey. Meanwhile, nine sets of Christie Terra transmitters and receivers manage the distribution and processing of all audiovisual signals. This entire projection system was deployed by Beijing Yingkang Technology Co., Ltd., who not only have extensive experience in large-scale projects but are also long-term partners of Christie.

During the 6-minute dark ride journey, visitors are immersed in dynamic and realistic visuals. These 30 projectors are installed within the 11,000 square meter dark ride project, used for large domes, holographic displays, and curved screens. Christie Terra's SDVoE technology-based solution is responsible for seamlessly transmitting the visual content to each projector on-site via a 10G Ethernet network. The Ethernet technology provides SDVoE systems, such as Christie Terra, with strong scalability, allowing amusement parks to conveniently upgrade their audiovisual systems in the future. Since its opening, 'Three Battles Against the White Bone Demon' has been favored by visitors.
